The grave of Agnon's mother was discovered in Buczacz, Ukraine

Esther Czaczkes, daughter of Yehuda Farb ha-Cohen passed away on the 11th of Nisan, (2.04) 1909, less than a year after her son Shmuel Yosef left to Palestine. Shay Agnon did not attend his mother's funeral, which tormented him for many years. It was not until 1913 that he visited his hometown and then could go to his mother's grave for the first time. 
Esther's gravestone is located in the southeastern part of the new section of the Jewish cemetery, dozens of meters from the tomb of her husband, Shlomo Mordechai Czaczkes, who died in 1913.
We do not know who wrote the inscription on the gravestone (on the tombstone of Shlomo Mordechai, a poem written by Shay Agnon was engraved), but this is a particularly poetic text:

 

פנ מ אסתר טשאטשקיס
בת הישיש המופלג מו"ה
יהודה פארב הכהן ני
נולדה בצום אסתר התרכו
ונפטרה בי"א ניסן התרסט
ארבעים ושלש ימי שנותיה
ספדו וקוננו לימי עלומיה
תמימה היתה זכה וישרה
רבה חן ויעלה תפארה
בארה צדקה דרכה נתינה
רחמה נפשות ברוח נדיבה
ילדיה חינכה בכשרון תבונה
הוריה אהבה תורה ואמונה
ותהי עקרת הבית כהלכה
דלים חננה אביונים תמכה
הלא לעד זכרה לברכה
