Rozhniatov is a small town on the Dubi River, 65 km from Ivano-Frankivsk.

The known Rabbi Aria Leib Hacohen Heller who worte the Jewish law book "Ktzout Hachoshin" (קצות החושן) served as the rabbi of Rozhniatov for a number of years before being appointed the rabbi of stryi.
