צר קנו עלי שבר
ברגבי אדמה פה בקבר
ינוח המו תם הגבר
בניו יצעקו מרה
נפלה עטרת ראשינו
יום נלקח מר אבינו
עזב לנאנחה אותנו
קץ לחייו נמהרה
בתום לבב וביושר
הלך למנוחה מוה'

Will rest a perfect man
His sons will bitterly scream
