Leo Landau was a well-known stage director and actor, who appeared under the stage name Lenkhart. Born in Brody in 1878, Landau became famous for playing central roles in the theatres of Brünn and Linz. No information exists regarding his life after 1916; it is thought that he went missing in France in 1916.
