According to the business registrar of 1891 in Solotvin he was a merchant of cadle. He and his brothers were traders of fur and leathers and this is probably the origin of the family name Sable=Sobel.
He had three brothers: Yehoshuha, Israel, Jeruchim and one sister, Anna.

Feivel was a Rabbi and a trader. In WWI he served as a medical assistant soldier in the medical force of the Austrian army. He was hurt when a train he was riding was bombed.
He immigrated to the United States in 1926 or 1927 and worked with his brothers to make enough means to bring his wife and children.
