Meir Haller had a brother, Israel and a sister, Fenya Meltzer
He was married to rachel Haller and they had two children:
Yenta-Zenya, born 1921
Eliyahu Elias, born 1924
He was probably re-married to Keyla.
Head of the Jewish community in Solotwin, served several years as the mayor of the town (Pinkas Kehilot, 350). He was the last leader of the Jewish community in Solotvin and was killed in the Holocuast with his wife and two children.
He was in a wood business and had financial problems in 1930s. In 1934-35 he was accused of corruption. (CAHJP, Hm2/8658.4)
